Montana artist Laurel Ovitt is a 4th-generation Montanan whose deep roots in Big Sky Country inspire every brushstroke. Living and creating in Whitehall, Montana, Laurel captures the rugged beauty of the West and its wildlife through her unique art. Working primarily in watercolors and acrylics on rock, her pieces reflect the spirit, color, and movement of Montana’s landscapes and the animals that call it home. Each creation celebrates her connection to the land, her heritage, and the timeless beauty of the western way of life.
